Popular rapper D-Black has explained his friendship with Fella Makafui, whose union with rapper Medikal has reached a rough patch. In the past month, a viral video which circulated online showed D-Black lighting a cigar for Fella Makafui, which sparked fury in her husband, Medikal and called both of them out for their actions. Medikal further called D-Black “fake” after the latter tweeted to promote his concert at the O2 Indigo last month. Fella Makafui honours Nungua stool’s invitation, Chief gives new order

Ghanaian actress Fella Makafui has honoured the invitation from the Gborbu Wulomo to authenticate a circulated document purporting a purchase of land at Nungua.   Fella Makafui and her estranged husband Medikal came to the notice of the Nungua stool when documents of their East Legon mansion popped up online. While Fella Makafui claims she contributed to constructing their East Legon mansion,  Medikal has established that he financed the home alone. The stool requested both parties to present the documents for verification by Friday, May 24. Fella was accompanied by fellow actress Habiba Sinare and her manager Richmond Amofa Sarpong.  The Nugua stool emphasised that it is not interested in their marital issues but rather the land documents online bearing their names.   Medikal known in real life as Samuel Adu Frimpong and Fella Makafui are expected to appear before the stool again on Tuesday, May 28 with the land documents.

Support effort to get a credible voter’s register – EC says as it warns parties to stop registering minors

  A Deputy Commissioner of the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, Dr Eric Bossman Asare has told the Police to punish all persons who have been arrested for registering minors onto the electoral roll. The EC said that it continues to receive reports of minors being registered in the Limited Voter Registration exercise.    The exercise, which started on May 7, will end on May 27, 2024.Briefing journalists on the ongoing limited voter registration exercise on Monday May 13, 2024, Dr Bosaman Asare said”We continue to receive reports that minors and non-Ghanaians are being encouraged by certain persons who are members of political parties to register as voters.    The Commission has seen a report from the Western Region specifically in Mpohor where some two persons who allegedly facilitated the registration of five minors have been apprehended by the Police.
